Question by OsamaBenLandlord: Why are most wedding planners gay?
Since weddings are the ultimate form of hetero bonding, why is that most wedding planners, florists, organists, etc. are gay? I am discounting the recent rampant spread of gay marriage. Obviously, that’s a huge increase in the gay wedding planner business.

BECAUSE GAY MEN WANT TO BE A WOMAN, AND THAT’S THE KIND OF JOB A WOMAN DOES. WHAT STRAIGHT MAN WANTS TO BE A WEDDING PLANNER?

just the way they are
To be honest some are the best wedding planners to have.THERE ISN”T ANYTHING WRONG WITH BEING GAY.Goodbye.
Your referring to wedding planners who are male, correct? This is because a wedding planner is a feminine job not commonly taken on my males of straight origin due to the political and social down look?
Most of them are not gay. There are some that are but you should never generalize. I am getting married and I have a wedding coordinator, florist ect and none of them are gay.
Because the duties called for by wedding planners, florists, etc tend not to be things hetero males are interested in. They are of more interest to women and gay males (but not all of either of those groups).
Gay marriage has nothing to do with it…and hetero marriage doesn’t count the fact that someone has to plan the party, make the cake, design the flowers, the dress, choose the location, etc. Most straight men simply have no interest in those things.
are you sure? i THOUGHT MOST WERE WOMAN
I think a man how wants to plan weddings, wedding planners, florists, organists, has got to be Gay. Or he is a good actor.
Its not normal for men to be in these fields.
That’s just a stereotypical assumption. I am a planner and I work with all types of planners, and most males are not gay. If you use common sense, it’s a great way for men to meet women as there are TONS of single ladies at weddings.
Maybe they aren’t, and maybe you should stop watching so many movies that stereotype people into roles, because you are obviously believing them.
PS. There is nothing wrong with two people who love each other marrying, whether they are same- or opposite-sex couples. I extremely dislike the fact you used “rampant spread” in your obnoxious question, as if the marriages of same-sex couples were comparable to the swine flu.
I truly hope you are just a troll who’s laughing about the reactions he gets than an ignorant prick who should go live with “W”.
All the wedding planners I know personally are straight women. And I only know two gay florists (They own a business together), the rest of the florists I know are women. I certainly wouldn’t say “most”, in spite of what they show you on TV.
I guess because they are expressive and creative which are main ingredients of a wedding planner.
Because straight men don’t give a rat’s behind about weddings.
i think gay dudes have better style than most woman and because they are sort of dudes so woman go to them for opinions.
Honestly? I haven’t come across anything like that in planning. If anything, it’s a stereotype advertised by Hollywood that doesn’t necessarily cross over to real life. With the exception of celebrity wedding planners (whose sexual orientations have not been made public to anyone), the majority are actually women.
What does a person’s sexual preference have to do with their style and vision of anything and talents? Nothing whatsoever.
Are you worried about this? I guess you are having difficulty breaking into this market, but I’m sure it doesn’t matter if you are gay or not. It’s just down to your ability. Keep trying and I’m sure you will get a job.
