No, I have never been to or heard of one that has been that way.
I think it is extremely weird, but whatever floats their boat I suppose.
I would not go.
I have never seen this. The reception is in celebration of the wedding ceremony, how can you have it before the wedding? What is is celebrating? Something that has not even happened yet? Who does this?
Yes… I think its normal now a days to have reception before marriage usually previous day evening… is anything wrong here ??
I have never heard of that. It could be a cultural thing.
No,Never
I have been to one reception before the wedding, it was horribly tacky and very disorganized. Guests were very confused, the order of events just didn’t make sense. It’s unlikely I would ever attend another.
it is fashion and routine affair in marriages, because of people’s convenience. Many people are busy and could not attend marriage and for those this reception is arranged. But, they may change it on the wedding day instead of previous day of wedding.
